Clarify the strategy and ship against it in the same quarter.

Gauges Green is a practice of senior operators for growth-stage companies that want more from what they have built, and for established companies adapting how they operate to what is now possible.

Who we work with

Two kinds of companies bring us in.

Growth-stage companies come to us with product-market fit and a team that is executing. The work is getting done, the product keeps improving, and the metrics are still moving slower than the ambition. That gap between a capable team and the results it should be producing is where we spend our time.

Established companies come to us already operating at scale. For them the gap sits between how the business runs today and what is now possible, including where and how to apply AI.

What we do

Both gaps close the same way. A senior operator embeds inside your team, clarifies the strategy, and ships against it in the same quarter. We work in two practice areas that map to those two lanes, Growth Product for growth-stage companies and AI Operations for established businesses, and we take a small number of engagements at a time.

The track record

Gauges Green was founded by Ryan Eberhard. He spent eight years as CPO at ZipRecruiter, building the product org from Series A through the NYSE listing while revenue grew from $100M to $900M with 46% year-over-year organic growth. At JobGet he came in as President, helped push revenue past $100M while cutting burn from $2M a month, and enabled the acquisitions of Snagajob and Seasoned. At Swing Education he served as CPTO, where the team cut OpEx and COGS by more than 50% year over year while maintaining product velocity, including an AI transformation of operations.

$900M revenue at exit, ZipRecruiter
$100M+ revenue, profitable at JobGet
50%+ OpEx/COGS cut, Swing Education

The practice was established in 2026 and is based in Mexico City and Los Angeles. Read the full background.

How an engagement runs

Every engagement runs in an arc. It opens with a diagnostic of roughly 30 days. Then comes the embedded phase, where the operator leads a critical initiative inside your team. It ends with a transition, handing the work off to a permanent hire or to your internal team. The goal of every engagement is to make ourselves unnecessary and leave the team stronger.

How we work

Every engagement runs on an operating harness we built inside the practice. It keeps your context current and tied to sources, turns meetings into usable source material, checks work before it leaves, and keeps commitments visible. We run Gauges Green on the same harness we install for AI Operations clients, and we publish a public build log about how it works.
